| My Ph. D is from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) . I spent my last 1.5 years of gradute work at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX working with Jonas S. Almeida and Elizabeth G. Hill. I spent 2.5 years as a postdoc in Alan Dabney's group at the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University as part of the Bioinformatics Traning Grant. I realocated to PNNL in January of 2010. I moved to Caprion where I work as a biostatistian (and sometimes bioinformatician). My research is in the area of computational/quantitative proteomics. As part of main analysis at Caprion I design experimets, perform normalization, missing value imputations and significance analyses. We as a group first do sample profiling with MS, I then determine what ions are differentially expressed and we follow up with selecting MRM transitions and doing MRM experimets to identify peptides and subsequently proteins involved in disease. |
