Goals:   Become statistically literate and develop a conceptual understanding of basic statistical principles

Topics:   Numerical and graphical methods of describing one and two variables, Basic probability , means and variances of discrete random variables, Continuous random variables, Sampling distributions for samples means and proportions, Confidence intervals and Hypothesis testing for means and proportions, Regression analysis, Chi-squared test for independence, and One-way ANOVA (time permitting)
