My name is Soma S Dhavala, a PostDoc with Prof. Raymond J. Carroll and Prof. Bani K. Mallick in the Department of Statisitcs at Texas A & M University.

I recently finished my Ph.D in Statistics under the supervision of Prof. Bani K. Mallick, where I worked in the Bayesian Bioinformatics Lab. For my disseration, I developed Bayesian semiparametric methods to analyze cross-platform gene expression data. I also had a chance to work on interesting problems in Graphical models, eQTI mapping, FDR control, Testing for differential expression etc..
