Java Applets
Dr. Mike Longnecker was a recipient of a 2001 Dean's grant for
information technology. This grant provided funds to hire two
graduate students, Suresh Xavier and Nishanth Raj, who helped to
write applets for use with the undergraduate courses in statistics.
Dr. Thomas Wehrly was a recipient of a 2001 Dean's grant for
information technology. This grant provided funds to hire one
graduate student, Weimin Zhang, who helped to write applets for use
with the graduate courses in statistics.
Dr. Mike Speed, Julie Hagen Carroll, and
Jessica Fried served as advisors on both projects
helping toe design the layout and focus of the applets. Dr. James
Hardin served as the lead programmer and developed the libraries
used in the creation of the applets.
