Stat 651 and 652 - Statistics in Research I and II

Stat 651 sections 640,700,720 will meet on Monday at 6:15pm CDT in blocker 457 starting August 25.
Stat 652 sections 640,700,720 will meet on Tuesday at 6:15pm CDT in blocker 457 starting August 26.
The course login and information will be emailed to student neo accounts on August 21, 2008 not before.

SPSS version 16 will be used as the statistical software in both classes and it is free for the registered students only. Order it a week before the semester starts from Software Evaluation Lab . For the installation/licence problems, again contact Software Evaluation Lab

Webassign will be used for communication and all our classwork in both classes.
Login information for webassign will be emailed to your neo account on August 21, 2008.
- if you registered later than August 21, make sure to email and inform me with your uin and full name.
- for planning purposes, the exam dates for stat 651 are October 6, November 3, and December 5, for the 1st, 2nd and the final exams, respectively. The final exam is at 7:30am CDT and the others are 6:15pm CDT on the sceheduled date.
- for planning purposes, the exam dates for stat 652 are September 30, November 4, and December 10 for the 1st, 2nd and the final exams, respectively. The final exam is at 3:30pm CDT and the others are 6:15pm CDT on the sceheduled date.
