• Raymond J. Carroll Raymond J. Carroll, Ph.D.
    Dr. Carroll is a Distinguished Professor at Texas A&M University, a special rank held by approximately 35 faculty members in the university. His main appointment is in the Department of Statistics, and he holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. He is a member of the Faculty of Nutrition, a member of the Faculty of Toxicology, and the Director for Biostatistics and Epidemiological Research for the NIEHS-funded Center for Environmental and Rural Health.

Stipends, Timing, Support and Other Details

  1. The program runs for two years, starting July1. We anticipate four program participants at any given time, two starting each July.
  2. Salaries will be $65,000 for 12 months, plus fringe benefits such a health insurance.
  3. No duties such as teaching are required. Participants in the program will thus have ample time to write research papers.
  4. We will assist in finding housing. Housing prices in College Station are fairly modest.
  5. Normal office assistance will be provided: supplies, telephone, fax, copying, printing, etc.
  6. Full access to the Texas A&M University Library will be provided.
