Questions about AP Statistics Training
  1. How does this "at your own pace" work, and do I still get a certificate?
We recorded the live, summer session and are making these videos available. You can watch as many, or as few, videos as your schedule allows. There are short quizzes associated with each video which intend to verify that you watched the video. You must get a 90% or better on the quizzes to receive a certificate. You will be allowed to re-submit quizzes to increase your score.

  2. Is the program endorsed by the College Board?
Our Summer Institutes (the on-campus workshop and its live online counterpart) are endorsed. The College Board does not evaluate, endorse or market any 100% online institutes due to the range of different proposed approaches for converting face-to-face summer institutes to the web. However, we deliver the exact same materials and aim to replicate the on-campus workshop experience as closely as possible.

  3. What are the computer/software requirements?
MS Word and PowerPoint for notes, etc.
    Adobe Reader
Cable/DSL Modem or better - dialup is not supported.
Flash to be able to watch videos

  4. Can I receive academic credit for the AP Stat training?
Yes. When it is offered, you must be admitted as a G6 and be registered for STAT 667. See the Application Process page for more information on G6 admittance.

  5. Can STAT 667 count towards a degree or certificate?
STAT 667 will not count towards the Masters Degree but it can be counted towards a Certificate.
