Aggie Honor Code

The Aggie Honor Code is strictly enforced.

The Aggie Honor Code:

“An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do.”

The Aggie Code of Honor affirms values that apply to students, faculty and staff alike. This simple statement exemplifies two of our core values—excellence and integrity—and underscores our commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with laws and official policies. These core values forge a strong base to embrace our other core values of leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service.

The student rules can be found at http://aggiehonor.tamu.edu/Student%20Rules/definitions.html.

If you violate the Aggie Honor Code and receive an F*, you are automatically dropped from the program and you will not be allowed to take any additional classes.

The F* Designation:
A student who is assessed a grade of “F*” shall have it documented on his/her transcript with the notation “FAILURE DUE TO ACADEMIC DISHONESTY.” The grade of “F*” is intended to recognize a student for failing to uphold the values of academic integrity at Texas A&M University. The grade of “F*” shall be treated in the same way as an “F” for the purposes of calculating Grade Point Ratio and determination of academic class standing.
